At Rapid Recovery Wound Care, PLLC, we believe healing means more than healing a wound. Located in Lexington, KY, our internist-led clinic provides specialized care for chronic, diabetic, non-healing, and complex wounds.
Led by Dr. Mohammed Athar, MD, we consider each patient’s overall health to create personalized treatment plans focused on healing, mobility, independence, and quality of life.
Care at Our Clinic and Beyond
Our Lexington clinic provides a dedicated setting for comprehensive wound assessment, treatment, procedures, and ongoing follow-up. We welcome patients from Lexington and surrounding Central Kentucky communities, including Nicholasville, Georgetown, Winchester, Versailles, Richmond, Frankfort, Danville, Berea, Mount Sterling, and Paris.
We also recognize that some patients cannot easily travel to a clinic. For eligible homebound patients, Rapid Recovery Wound Care offers mobile and house-call wound care, bringing appropriate wound assessment and treatment directly to the home.
